bursts of three Not really a2009-04-28 00:00:00I try to group myasts in bursts of three. Not really a mag number, I just try to plan ahead to get outside the fsr. I also use my ears. Hearing PoM boue around too qukly lets me know that AOE (or aggro spread) is curing and gets me ready for IFPoHPoMRenew.
I went bk to shadow for leveling and I heal as shadow as well. I went far enough into the di tree to pk up meditation, the rest into shadow. I've gotten mh better at managing myooldowns now sie shadow is diffult to heal in. I now use renew, flash heal, and PoM. I also try to put up VE and my two insta dot...
I have absolutely 02009-04-28 00:00:00Oh, I'll admit wholeheartedly; I have absolutely 0 experiee with the high manount Raids WOW is known for. My End-Game experiees are from another MMOompletely, so while I feel prettyomfortable speaking in fundamental abstrts, I'd never get spif about something I have no experiee of. I'm sorry, I should have probably been morelear about that. I agree, ertain positions in the party are of more importae to the whole, and should cordingly get a higher priority. My introdtion was a bit lo...
Best pet for an MM hunter2009-04-07 00:00:00whatsthe best pet i liek the cat for the high dps but i need somethign that can hold alot of agrowhen doing raids ive seen a few Marksman hunters useing bears because of their swipe ability that hits up to 3 enemies, in addition to the rain that your contributing
but the thing is bears are tenacity, not ferocity, so they dont have a lot of the good skills that help in groups like the roar that boosts attack power by 10%% for a whileI used to have a bear but he couldnt hold the agro considering i was hitting harder and faster than he was my cat however does a pretty descent job if i send him on all the t...
Best lvl 19 twink pet2009-04-07 00:00:00Im making a hunter twink and im wondering what pet I should tame?Heyna because of Tendon Rip to slow down the flag carrier or to just kite the target also they are DPS pets so they make a good lvl 19 twink pet. You can tame them in the Barrens. This is the oet i would tame. GL on being a twink..Agreed on the hyena. You can find lvl 19 ones in the barrens so no need to level them, but there are lots of decent pet types now so there's no need to limit yourself to just one. I'm planning a 19 hunter myself at the moment and these are the pets I'm going...
***Gorilla vs Rhino***2009-04-07 00:00:00Gorilla's causes aggro, and I'm not sure if rhino's does, but that knockback is GREAT. Which holds better aggro. Posts with more than one word are appreciated.rhinos is betterGorilla, lol2 and 3 word posts aren't much better.i say gorilla is a better tank because of thunderstomp, rino is more of a 1 target tank
Crikey! I didn't even know there was Rhinos in this game and i'm lvl 70.Agreed with joe, but rhinos look a hell of a lot cooler.not sure if it does, but i think the knockback could get you into trouble by pulling to many mobsRhino's start at Lvl 67 not 72
Wooly Rhino Calf (67, Borean Tundra)
Wooly Rhino Matriarch (68, Borean Tundra)
Wooly Rhino Bull (69, Borean Tundra)
Shardhorn Rhino (75-76, Sholazar Basin)
Ice Steppe Bull (78-79, The Storm Peaks)
Ice Steppe Rhino (78-79, The Storm Peaks)
Romping Rhino (78-79, The Storm Peaks)
But it does seem Gorilla's are the only pet that causes aggro without using any pet talents. I would also say a Turtle is good due to it's Shell Shield spell (The turtle partially withdraws into its shell, reducing damage taken by 50%% for 12 sec. 1 Min CD).
Reducing damage taken doesn't draw any aggro. Actually, it might DUMP aggro. I won't need any heavy defense ...
Best pet for hunter2009-04-07 00:00:00OK i have a turtle that i have been using works really good for PVE, however i wanted to get a pet that would be better for Raids and instances. What is the BEST PET to get for this and why? Also what is the best way to train a Pet to get him up to your lvl and get training points?Prob a cat. High DPS, the tank will get agro and not the pet. However, Raptors have high DPS and look really really cool. They don't run on 4 legs, they bound on two. That's really really cute... in a vicious sort of way. I'd have to go with a cat. In fact, I use my cat for almost everything. They have much higher DPS than a turtle, do it will be easier for them to hold mobs. However, they will have less defense than your turtle, so you'll need to use mend pet slightly more often. Overall, the cat is one of the most reliable pets you can find.
Also, cats have the prowl ability, which allows them to turn invisible for an indefinite period of time. As a Night Elf hunter, one can turn completely invisible-- making for an excellent ambush.for groups, where no one expects or wants you to hold aggro, or where aggro isn't an issue at all.
ravagers have highest dps, they get plus 10%% racial bonus, and gore, which does slightly less ...
